The fourth ever Shiva Nata teacher training!
Very exciting news — we now have the dates for the next Shiva Nata teacher training. Yes, the dates people have been asking about since December when the last training filled.
Squeeeeeeeeee!
September 7–9, 2011
Wednesday, September 7th in the afternoon through Friday, September 9th at noon. In Portland, Oregon. At the Playground (my magical studio).
Exclamation points!
Registration doesn’t open for a few more days (April 21st), but block out the training dates on your calendar and get ready to find a way to make this happen because this is amazing. And it fills fast.
More details to be posted soon, in addition to the basic information here.
In the meantime, if you have questions that aren’t answered on the FAQ, ask away.
And if you were at a previous training with me and want to weigh in with how trippy, powerful and beautifully-life-changing it is, that’s welcome too.
And the reminder!
You don’t have to be any good at Shiva Nata. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t practiced in a year. Or at all. You don’t have to want to teach. If you have the feeling, you have the feeling.
This can help with any project, any process and anything you might ever want to teach.
So if you can find a way to get to Portland in September, rock on. I can’t wait to see you.
Shiva Nata: the Dance of Shiva

So, lemme get this straight. It’s a class to learn about teaching Shivanautical shtuff, but I don’t have to be even remotely proficient AT shiva nata itself?
Because I was on here hoping to find a link to a class or session for getting together and helping/motivating/talking about shiva nata. Just not with a bunch of people who are already really good at it and dedicated. Or maybe that would make me better/more motivated just doing it with them.
I don’t know. It sounds like this is the only option for such a thing? If so, let me know. It might what I need.

Does anyone want to fund my plane to Portland form the UK? because then I’ll come :P
I wish there was an ecourse or little “tips to teach” leaflet in the secret lab for teaching because although I have the time and could stretch to afford the training; getting there is too expensive :(
I know everyone’ll have a fab time and learn so much ^_^
@quixymama – where are you? there are people practising all over the world who I’m sure you could put a feeling out and meet up with someone nearby? People have found me by googling “Shiva nata brighton/london/uk” and such?

Shiva Nata teacher training is the most fun thing in the world. Is there anything better than spending a whole weekend flailing around with a bunch of other fabulous shivanauts? Fun and lifechanging and just marvelous.
@quixymama, I’m looking into offering classes via skype. Is that something you might be interested in?

Man, oh man! Teacher training is beyond the best! I can confidently say that every day since the training in February I have thought about and used some of the things that I learned there. For me it was a totally transformative experience — in the gentlest, most loving, hilarious, bad-ass, and profound way.
Yay for teacher training and all the people who are going to dissolve in bliss this September!
