Shiva Nata: the Dance of Shiva

Shiva Nata is brain training that kind of looks like martial arts, and acts like drugs-that-make-you-smart-and-hot.
It uses movement patterns to generate new neural connections and huge understandings that let you rewrite your patterns.
Sometimes we hate it for being so damn hard – but we get over that because Shiva Nata makes us graceful, coordinated and awesome. And because of the hot, buttered epiphanies.

Attention Idaho Shivanauts!

Frank is teaching a Dance of Shiva workshop!

In Boise.

On Saturday, April 10th, 2010 from 9:00 am until noon.

Here’s what it is.

I quote Frank:

“A half-day workshop about how you can use your brain and body to get insights and ideas any time you need them. Half of it’s theory and pop neuroscience. The other half involves uncoordinated arm flailing to inappropriate music.

“We’ll talk about where ideas and insights come from (the neuroscience behind them).

“We’ll look at why common suggestions for getting out of a rut (take a walk, play a game, do something else) don’t always work. Then we’ll discuss tools for generating ideas and insights any time you need them.

“And we’ll do Dance of Shiva so all the stuff we talked about gets integrated into your body and your brain. That way you won’t lose it. Plus, there will be Hug Yourself Yoga.”

Uh huh!

Here’s my recommendation.

Frank is amazing.

Super bright. A lot of fun. And a really good guy.

If you’re anywhere near Idaho, you want to be there.

Sign up details are right here.

Yay!

That is all.

  1. More than that, Frank is… just one guy! Ok, I guess you had to be there, but for those who were there it was hysterically funny!

He can teach you to retrain your brain by flailing your arms around!
    You might even get pie!
