I *so* wanted to attend that class, but I happened to be on a plane at that moment. I'm glad I've read this post and the comments, though, because I'm exactly where Natalia is, and experiencing the same thing with my practice. Now I know I must listen to that recording as soon as possible, and not do the old "I'll get to it one day, when I have some time..."
Thank you, Natalia, for asking this question! The answer will be really helpful to me.

Havi, thank you again for allowing me to sign up. I've ordered the starter kit and started reading through the PDF reports, and I can't wait to be a Real Live Shivanaut!

@Natalia - oh, these are lovely questions. I will definitely cover these in the call for you. Thank you!

And I will be in Berlin in September! My programs guy is still ironing out the exact times in the different locations but there will be at least six different classes there that I know of. :)

@Sandra - wow.

What completely perfect timing. I love it. Also, I was reading about you on your website and oh boy! I like you. So yay, this is fun and am very glad that you are a new Shivanaut. Lovely!

OK, Havi, here's what I'd like to ask:

I'm stuck on steps 17 and 18 of the DVD (H arms, legs 1st seq., V arms, legs 2nd seq., fast speed). They don't just feel challenging, they feel downright impossible. I don't just feel that I'm just getting it wrong, I feel that I am not following *at all*. The same sequences on slow speed are too easy and boring. I even tried the fast sequence on half the speed (the only other speed my DVD player permits) and I can follow without much difficulty. But at the regular (i.e. fast) speed, no way! I'm very frustrated. I decided to continue with the rest of the programme but I feel disheartened. Also, I would like to know what the best approach for such a problem is because I will likely get stuck again at some point in the future.

Along the same lines: I'm trying to find a good balance between moderately difficult and impossibly hard. I understand that without challenging myself considerably, I should not expect any epiphanies. How do I know that I'm getting the balance more or less right? For instance, if I practice for 10 minutes without feeling exhausted, does this mean I wasn't pushing myself hard enough?

Final question: Got any plans for Shiva seminars in Europe? I'd love to attend.

Seriously?! Something happens just twice a year, and I manage to find out about it in time to attend?!

My DVD is only now en route to me but already the hot-buttered epiphanies are coming: 1) I don't have to be "perfectly ready" to say YES to great opportunities, and 2) I make a move and the Universe responds beautifully!

Can't wait!

Havi, will you record the class? Due to the time difference, I may not be able to attend and would love to be able to listen to the recording later. The class comes at the perfect time for me because I'm stuck with my practice and feel very frustrated about it. If you will be recording, could I send in my question and hope that you have time to respond?
